The Capitol.....
A shot through a large window creates an unusual yet usual effect. The Iowa State Capital has new gold leaf on its dome.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

In the garden, there is moss in the lawn.
The path looks most inviting. In the picture it draws you in and, I am sure, in real life it does so too,
