St. Francsis is knee deep in snow.....

A simple garden sculpture with such great expression.  His left hand holds a tray in which you can place bird seed.  This particular version of St. Francis is a heavier weighted man than the typical ones that you see done in illustrations and sculptures.  It still is one of my favorits.

You really got a lot of snow! St. Francis looks like he wants you to get him out.
I hope it as stopped now for you.

The photograph is wonderful and the close cropping around the figure of St Francis makes the snow and the stone and the expression stand out so well.

he looks cold. I have a small concrete yard ornament that I use to give weight to the back of my car in winter weather. She is in the trunk in the winter and in the house in the summer.

Oh, he looks cold and with quite the winter burden!

Balance of Strong Colors....

The Rembrandt kind of tulips are just now starting to bloom. The colors are so vibrant.
