It continues......

I went out to get the mail and to take great photos of the snow. The cold was so bad that it shut my batteries down. Once I warmed them up they seem to be better but they probably are getting close to being discharged.  It really was too cold for me to be out there with a little wind chill going on so it was probably best that I just shot pictures in the driveway.

Just to shock you out of all the white that you see I will share texture and color of our fake wreath. It will be refreshing to see even if it is fake.

We have to go for an appointment tomorrow so we will be out and about tomorrow.  I am looking forward to next Sunday when they say it will be warming up to 15 degrees above.

If that is the forecast over where you are, let's hope that, as usual, we inherit your weather systems. There is another wave of snow falling as I write but it obviously is not as cold here as you have there - my batteries are still operating!

Inside half an hour we have ground cover, the white stuff that you have. I must get a few shots. The bird on the fake wreath had me fooled for a while. Knowing how exotic the birds are overseas it was easy to fool me... grins.

I think I'd have to move. Or at least have a second home in Mexico.

Wow, what a winter wonderland. 15 degrees will seem like a heatwave!
We had some sunshine yesterday, now it looks like more snow.

Smarter than the Camera? Mine's a brand new Nikon! How am I expected to be smarter than a young thing that likely knows how to reset the VCR!

I love that snow on the conifer branches. It reminds me of the illustrations in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Sounds like you are tired of the cold too. I keep my camera inside my coat most of the time..I have rechargeable regular batteries ..I bet you have a Lithium.. I may look strange with it inside my parka.. I have a case and it has straps that I hang around my neck it helps to keep it a little warmer. My husband says it looks like part of my uniform:)

I heard you were getting bitter cold there..you have been getting colder weather and more snow than us Yoopers, and that is unusual!
Hang in there, it is supposed to be warmer this coming weekend for you I think.

Peony and Tulips....

The flowers are getting a gentle rain this morning.  It  makes the soil and sub soil happier as our drought is less these days.
