Purple and White Lilacs......

Our rain has caused everything to start to bloom. The smell is wonderful with lilacs, apple trees, pear tree and chokecherry tree all scenting the air.  I took these photos in a low light overcast day and it worked well. We almost were foggy with all the humidity in the air.

GOOD MORNING LARRY. MOTHER LOVED LILACS AND I HAVE TWO BUT HAVE NEVER HAD A WHITE ONE. THESE PHOTOS ARE SO PRETTY. ONE OF OUR 3 CATS LOVES TO RUB HER FACE ON THE LOWER BRANCHES OF MOTHER'S LILAC JUST LIKE IT WAS CATNIP! HAVE A NICE WEEKEND.

I adore lilac, the perfume is so heady and beautiful. Mine are in bud waiting to open.

You have some lovely flower pics that I missed whilst I was on holiday - but this is the best as lilac is such a lovely blossom. There was a lilac tree in the garden of my childhood home. I can still conjure up its glorious scent.

Lilacs are my absolute FAVORITE spring flower...I love the scent.
We are still in Florida and I am so afraid mine will bloom while we are away and I will miss them this spring!

I can't believe how far along your blooms are. My tulips just opened up over the weekend!
The lilac is beautiful, I can almost smell them from here.

At four in the morning and one is walking the empty hallways, one never knows what the camera might shoot.
