It has been planted there for three years now and it is a stunning specimen. I have two of them in different locations.
I like how hardy that it is and its leaves, stems, are very beautiful. The blooms are an added joy.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
