 The zinnia puts out a flower that has many different forms. This one has the overlapping petals that progress to the center making a great textured pattern of color.

Small but Significant

Look to the sky way high. While I was looking for a sunrise shot I see the moon is still visible. The sliver of a moon forming a cup is still fascinating to me even though as a kid I thought it magically.

Rose Bud

 Among the now fading canes of the rose bush a bud is opening. The shrub is getting ready for winter but a few flowers are still coming forth. The leaves are all falling away from the canes.

 It is a late bloomer that seems to surviving all of our rainfall.

Clouds Above

 The morning is predicted to be partly cloudy. I think it will be cloudy most all of the day. We did warm up though which is kind of nice to have to help us to dry out from all of our rains.

 One piece is a good white glass but all the others are milkglass. It is from my wife's collection that she inherited from her mother.
