Larry, I think it is very pretty, if you can control it by mowing it and you have it in part of your yard that doesn't do well with other plants..hey..that's a good deal! The Lady Slippers were awesome, I would miss them if we didn't live in Minnesota! I also had five yellow Lady Slippers that bloomed along my back driveway..up by two blooms from last year..but the Poison Ivy is so bad..hope I didn't get any.. I will be going out again one of these days..to photograph that Hillside again..:)
Larry, can you do a close up photo? I kinda looks like creeping bellflower. Not good.
Yes, I know it isn't good. But in our climate and on my big two lots it stays at bay. I mow it to keep it from taking the yard, but at the back of the house I don't dare water it. If I leave it alone, the hot southern side of the house really shuts it down. The close up is the next blog back and Far Side from Minnesota did check it out and gave me the word on it, creepy creeping bellflower.
