I have an appreciation for the abstract as sometimes it can express an emotion in a way that realism can't do. I love the light that shines back at me when I point and shoot at my meager fish trough. When I buy floating pellets for my fish, I will try for a clearer macro of a fish in the water. When they are deep in the water I can't get a focus. Instead I get the view that an Impressionist would paint.
Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.
