This is the transitional colors of this bush as it will eventually be bright red. Our weather is cooler longer but we got up to 72 degrees today which was warm while driving in a car.

Yesterday our weather was very nice and hot.
Nice burning bush.
I have been metricized!. I suddenly realised whilst reading your post that now I think in centigrade rather than Fahrenheit. It's only taken 40 years!
Signs of autumn are all around us. I have been enjoying the cooler weather.
Such a pretty bush -it won't be long till it's all red -- it's been warm here too for a few days.

The leaves seems to be imitating the flowers.
We have been so blessed in the U.P. too..Sept. has been ten degrees warmer all month than average...we have had in the 70's for weeks. But it is supposed to get in the 50's with rain this weekend, so the other shoe is about to drop.
We have about 55% color now with our leaves. I hope to blogpost some pix of the color on our lake over the next few days.
