Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Fading.......
The paperwhites don't smell any more. Their flowers are past their prime. The seed bulbs are forming and there still is snow. It has been a good run for them. They have given us a lot of unexpected joy as they soaked in the light of all those cold winter days. A cold, moody afternoon as I look out beyond their faded form and ask when will it all conclude.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

The paperwhites are still very pretty, and I hope that winter will soon be fading into spring.
After the two feet of snow, we got another 10 inches. Mother Nature sure has a strange sense of humor!
Sunny :)
It is sad that blooms are beautiful for such a short time.
Nice photo looking past the paperwhites into the snow outside the window. I hope you two have a nice Sunday afternoon.
I'm wondering the same thing, also. I know Spring will be here, but it's getting to be a long wait. More snow and cold weather are predicted over here. Just don't need anymore snow. I've had enough to last for awhile.
The flowers still look nice next to the window with the snow outside. It is a shame they don't stay in flower for longer.
I can't wait for the spring here, i am fed up with the horrid winter weather we have had this year.
Thank you for visiting my blog and your comments about your Border Collie. I will have to come back and see if you have any photo's of him on here.
All my flowers fell off mine now and I just have the tallllllll green leaves!
The paperwhite flowers still look nice with the glowing snow as background.
