Afghan up close............


Pattern, color, line, texture, color values, and shapes all make the design an artwork.


My mom crocheted with small thread and made doilies but in the early 70's she bought this kit that gave her directions on how to make this fiesta designed afghan.

My husband's mom made some identical ones, too...they are so nice to settle under on a cold winter's night..we still use them!

I used to crochet a lot but never got round to make an Afghan. Bought blankets couldn't compare for warmth. Thanks for sharing.
