Creeping Bell Flower......


This plant really enjoys all the rain we are receiving as it doesn't do well in the heat.


A bonus photo today I am providing of the full stand of the bell flower in my front yard.

I have those too. They are beautiful, but the creeping part is very accurate. Someone else I know called them Ladybells.

By creeping do you mean invasive? They're very pretty, I adore the colour.

Famous gardeners of old describe this plant as a curse. It is invasive but is a traditional foundation plant in the old neighborhoods in Iowa. It is described as being eradicated by poison and removing every particle of root in the ground.
