Antiques.......
These two houses were turned into antique stores at Bar Harbor, Maine. The lady on the porch said she lives in the upstairs of her purple house. The houses were packed full of items and all the rooms were left as they were originally used. The displays just fit in and around the kitchen sink. The stairs of the one had merchandise for sale on the steps.

When I enlarged your photo, I could see so many details in these lovely antique shops. I've always thought it would be fun to live above a shope like this. Did you or your wife purchase anything?

I love to ramble around in shops like that. It would be a fun retirement job, too, I would think...and to live upstairs.

I wouldn't get past those without a stay of several hours for browsing. Hope they serve coffee!
