Dink's Taxi.......
A restaurant in Bar Harbor, Maine. It is a real car and the building sits at the back of the alley. It possibly was never a church but was a building created to look like one. Then again, it could have been a church but I don't understand how it got built in by stores on all sides. We didn't have time to eat there but maybe another year. Unusual, I am sure there are some good stories about this place. i presume it is a taxi up on the balcony, and that it belonged to 'Jinks'. Does look like a church too.
If that doesn't get the attention of the customers, nothing will!
Very curious ! Maybe an old church. Only God know it !!!g wI do not think believe
Nice picture, makes me want to explore further. Sadly I didn't get to see all of Bar Harbor! I do remember seeing a yellow cab on a Times Square building.
What a wonderful building it looks. I love idiosyncratic places like that.
So cute and unique!
Those stained glass windows are something else..there must be more to this buildings story..:)
