When you search cemetery iris, it is a name given to the small older varieties in this country. They are hearty and grow for years in our old cemeteries. The hybrids actually were bred and created into the large iris we have today from these small iris.
Oh, this is so interesting! I've never even heard of the cemetery iris! Love the zebra-like stripes.
She is a looker for sure:)
