Very nice contrast. I always think back to childhood and collecting Maple leaves in the fall to press between waxed paper.
Lovely photo. We also have two maple trees in the garden. One copper and the other variegated. The colour of the variegated on is absolutely beautiful at the moment.
Very nice. Didn't realise they were new leaves, at first I thought I was looking at an autumn picture.
I never noticed that, either! They look so fresh and new!
A colorful combination it is. The lily of the valley are one of my favorites in the wildflower garden and actually serve as a great groundcover in the shady areas.
