Mine are getting close to blooming but it will be next week yet. I live near Ames and we are in a completely different growing zone that the Des Moines area.
And, of course, southern Iowa is even more ahead than Des Moines.
Great images. I like the iris with the water on it.
This first week of my photography class we talked quite a bit about depth of field. The iris image certainly illustrates that nicely.
