This is probably the last of the blooms as the heat has moved into Iowa now. It doesn't take a day for heat and wind to take them away.

Oh, so that's why my spirea blooms have disappeared early. We're facing sudden heat on top of icy cold, which will change again tomorrow.
Your spirea blooms are wonderful. Flowers are so fleeting in reality, but they linger in our hearts and memories.
