Another late day posting........


My one burning bush has shown pinkish colored leaves every year for quite some time.  I think that because it is growing close to my burn pile if affects the color of the leaves it puts out.  The ash from the burn pile must wash down into the root system and cause the leaves to be a lighter red than my other two bushes.

It's lovely. You've reminded me that my grandfather used to put ashes from the fire on the garden. This must be why. I live and learn.

 I have always picked up things and put them in my pocket. The former owner dumped lots of different rocks into the front rock garden area. ...
