Three photos today from the archives. I picked a name for the title today and you see I found some flying things. My dad's old plastic whirligig mallard keeps swinging it's wings in all the wind that we have been experiencing.

Visiting Grackle
The reflective feathers of the grackle on its neck are usually blue. Sometimes it can seem to be greenish.

I would love to have a whirligig - we really had the wind yesterday!
Yes, I can sometimes share with my blogger friends and know that it is coming there way. My son in Chicago is sometimes a day later in receiving our weather.
Not to sound jealous or anything but at least your birds don't fly off. I have trouble even getting close to mine... :)
If I had wings I would fly away to some place warmer! Of course I really like that ornament with wings:)
