My red peonies are the last to bloom and they look great. I had one that was so large and heavy that it hung out into the walkway. I had to pick it and take it inside as to keep it from getting damaged by passerby people.

Visiting Grackle
The reflective feathers of the grackle on its neck are usually blue. Sometimes it can seem to be greenish.

We usually get lots of ants in ours. Yours is a lovely red/pink
They are lovely. I lost all of mine when we built a new house next door in the woods. The new owners of the old one mowed them all down. The pionering conquer the land so we can turned it into lawn or plants corn spirit.... :(
