A last minute shot, unplanned, turns into a beauty of a shot. The idea that a flower that size can unfold from the head of a bud that small is shown with bud and bloom side by side. It is amazing to see it happen every single time. I think that is one of the things that I like about growing flowers is to watch the miraculous change every single time that something blooms. It is like a butterfly coming out of it's cocoon when they unfold from their cramped form into an exploding form of petals.
