The silver maple has started to turn color getting ready for its fall showing. It will take it a long time to turn completely yellow. It will be the last tree to drop it's leaves in early November. Our sky color gets to be a deeper blue in the fall as the earth tilts away from the sun. We had a cold night last night and it will be colder tonight.
