Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Barnabas........
With the tip of his tongue retreating Barney, our border collie, is staring outside to see if the neighbor cat's are out there. He will dutifully go bark at them or at any passerby that seems a dangerous threat to our property. His skin conditions keep us busy but he now gets a thorough brushing everyday to keep his undercoat of hair to a minimum. He is in better shape coat wise and we are glad the worse of it is over with now. One never knows for sure what one or two things cause him to be allergic but we keep him on a watch diet of lamb and rice dog food with no food coloring additives in dog biscuits.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

It's a super picture, Barney is a lovely dog. Hard to imagine him having a skin problem because his coat looks so nice. Was it a sort of eczema?
Barney is so sweet. What a great photo of him on guard for those old bad cats/passersby!!!
Barney either has a reaction to the pollen on the ground outside or it is a food allergy. We noticed when we bought food for him that had only lamb in it that he was better. The vet says frequent washing of his legs and or total bath would help but people who have dogs with allergies said to our vet that it started very early this spring and was the worse that they had ever experienced with their dogs. I don't think we had enough rain to keep the plants washed down. It was our worse year ever also in 8 years.
What a beautiful photograph of a gorgeous looking dog!
Barney is a very handsome fellow.
