The birds are enjoying the berries of the burning bushes. We don't have snow yet but they seem to be already enjoying all the seed pods and berries on the bushes.

The hybrid iris has perfect form with two great colors too. They are so much a natural form to be much like living sculptures.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
