Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Birch White...........
The sun was peeking out from behind some clouds making the birch tree glow. It is a beautiful tree year round but it seems whiter than I have ever seen it before. The bark is so clear and clean. The seed pods are starting to form creating those spiral textured decorations that swing in the wind. We had a beautiful warm spring day.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

What a handsome tree. And just like the one we have in our front yard! :)
This birch came from a ditch on our property from northern Minnesota. It is the only real birch probably in the whole area. I am not sure why they are not planted more but the clump birch seems to be more popular. I am thinking the tree is over 30 years old.
