They shot up their stems with buds formed on the end of them. I missed the first day that they bloomed but now two days later they are looking good.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

We called them magic lilies here and the first time I saw them spring up after the leaves died I was surprised and shocked...:)
