Maple Tree View.....
I had to venture out this morning as it was warming up and the sun was shining. Our ground is still wet from the rains of the past days. It is a rare thing but nice to see. The neighbor across the street has two of these trees and it will eventually be aglow with red and orange.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Mine is still green after that one bright red leaf, but soon, it has gotten cooler.
Your sky is so clear after the rain. I actually slipped a little on some muddy ground this afternoon from last night's rain.
I like to watch the daily changes in colour on the trees. It is quite remarkable how they change. One of nature's gifts to mankind.
I think Maples are my favorite in the fall. Huge maples lined the walkway at the little church I went to as a child.
