Winter............
It all looks about the same around here. We had sunshine and thawing on Sunday but all of the water is again frozen into slick spots for cars to slide on and for people in which to fall down. Beautiful shot but I know you are dreading more frigid temps. Even GA is due to have much colder temps. We got out today for a short time.

Yesterday we were in the fog. This morning it is very cold.

One day, perhaps, I will see a Red Cardinal in the flesh (or rather in the 'feather'!), but for now these birds bring back happy memories of playing Pelmanism (pairs memory game) as a child, as one of our sets of pairs had a Red Cardinal as its picture.
Your wintry scene is not dissimilar to the one I am looking out on here, due to fog and frost. All very atmospheric ... but chilly!
