The yucca thrives among the snow. We still have snow even though we are 40 degrees F. right now. Our warming up really doesn't melt the snow very much. I think the winds keep the air cold so it really doesn't effect it. Our weather is still yucky with dipping down into the very cold and very strong winds continue off and on forever.

Funny story about yucca. The small home I owned when I met John had a large clump of yucca at the mailbox. I asked him to get rid of it. He laughs now that he must have loved me to do that; the roots went to China!
Now, 21 years later, I would like to have yucca to add to our living fence. We found a construction site with yucca free for the digging! Not sure if we are up to the challenge, though!
