All Aglow..........
The sun was low in the sky and it really made a colorful reflection off of the feathers of this female cardinal. The reflection on the redder feathers is something I have not seen before this photo. You can see the kind of feathers on the cardinal are different than the sparrow behind it. The reflective color characteristic in the male cardinal is also there on the female.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...
