The rose promises me to have blooms and I promise to go in and cut out the dead stalks. This rose blooms readily all summer if I keep it watered.

These buds are very promising... cheerful light and lush green.
It's going to be beautiful. Our red knockouts got frost bitten and are a little slow this year.
