Ditch Lily........
It is also called a field lily. When farm buildings are gone and the house it gone this lily is still growing in the ditches along the road where it was originally growing. It really is a wonderful lily and it is so much more complicated in design than just a regular daylily. This is my very first bloom. I will try not to take so many pictures, but it is an easy subject.

I think they are so pretty. I remember my dad admiring them one day and saying, "how could anyone doubt there is a God?" Wishing you both a nice Friday.
My wife insists that I call them 'Flowers of the Field'!
How lovely it would be to see them in the wild.
Superb capture!
