The squirrel sat there for a long time. I don't know if he is waiting for that ear of corn to be placed on the nail, but he has a long wait. All winter I do keep corn available for them to eat. I guess sitting on a platform is easier than clinging to a tree branch as he sat there and watched the world go by him. It would put him into shock if I placed an ear of corn on there but I don't have any right now.
