Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Honking.......
In the past we would believe that the Canada geese would be headed north when we would see and hear this. In fact, the geese stay all year and they fly in formation to find open cornfields now that the snow has melted. Those geese that do fly north must follow the waterways normally and we don't see it happening anymore. It was a warmer day yesterday but from here on our we will be back to below freezing again.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Birds know what time it will be. Storks have already arrived in eastern France. The spring is so far ahead that I think the swallows will be here soon.
Great capture on the birds against the pretty blue sky! Living close to an estuary I have seen birds flying in bunches across our sky in evenings and I mostly see white herons and egrets.
This is a wonderful photo of the geese flying in formation.
