The tree calls out to me to take its photo on certain days more than others. Yesterday the sun was bright and the light was clear making the bark look so clean. Small sets of leaves are now forming on the branches.
The leaves that are just now forming make a blurred shadow at the ends of the smaller branches. The spiral tentacle shapes will be popping out soon, making some of the birds very happy.

Birch are so pretty, so much prettier than aspens. So white and clean looking. On my walk there is a nice stand of birch. They always look magnificent against the blue sky.
