Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Out on a Limb......
The balsam pine is getting old but I doubt it will die for a long time. This is the tree I photographed like this a few year ago. You could see my leftover Christmas twinkle lights hanging from the limbs that had not been removed 10 or more years ago. I was shamed by a few people so I took them down with a very tall ladder helping to get to them. The special lighting was not planned but I was glad to have it work for me.

Two Blues……
The hybrid iris has perfect form with two great colors too. They are so much a natural form to be much like living sculptures.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

I imagine the lights looked very pretty on the tree.
I remember seeing this tree already in your blog with lights around... and it must be tough to hang and bring them down.
What a great shot!
