Rock Solid......
My weather rock took a fall from the railing a few months ago. I have missed it but couldn't find it with snow covering or dried vegetation covering it. Yesterday I saw it against the old flagstone kitchen foundation. It took on a little stain from laying among the dead plants. The rock from the Minnesota shore is back.
I iron ore rock has been carrying on with out the round granite rock. Its flat bottom keeps it from being knocked of by any squirrel. The color of our season is "dead" right now. The snow is not all gone but most of it is. More snow will come I am certain.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

I like your weather rock! We have certain knick-knacks around the house that the cats love to push off in the floor! I guess the squirrels like your rock!
I've always loved rocks and collected them when I was younger...very fun! Glad you found your weather rock!
Good looking one! Last week i was at a mountain area and found number of rocks and pebbles, but couldn't take time search for good ones.
Curious to know why it is called 'weather' rock? I was an avid rock collector once upon a time and still have them - I use them as door stops.
I like the rock. Glad you were able to rescue it. It has been so mild here. I bet we will get some snow before winter's over
