Great Fragrance.......Sinus Agitators.

The blooms of lilac makes us all sure the spring has arrived.  You have to wear your winter coat to go out and view them.  This cutting of them is a bonus as they continue to open their blooms and they are thriving in their bucket of water inside the house.

I was just thinking this morning how cute lilacs would look in the old enamel coffee pot that was an auction find last weekend...and then I read your title for today's post. :) I'm rethinking the plan because I'm dealing with allergies right now.

Lilacs are so pretty. I have never tried to plant them. I shouldgive it a go with my brown thumb. :)

Oh my gosh! I was looking for flowers on ours yesterday, and couldn't find even the tiny flowerbuds yet. One of the sweetest fragrances in the garden.

These are such pretty lilacs. John and I visited an antique store today and a beautiful Corvair parked beside us. You, Della and Barney would look good riding around town in a convertible Corvair!
So many blog friends have experienced severe weather this weekend. Hope you are safe there. Take care.

My 'blue' lilac is blooming but the white lilac is always a week or so later before it shows it's flowers.

That is a cute story about your schoolmate having a Corvair. I can't remember what I had for breakfast, but I can remember what car everyone drove when I was in high school! lol
