The underside of the cloud picks up the sun's glow as the day turns to dark. A clear sky for the most part allows small patches of clouds to be more highlighted in color and shape.

Visiting Grackle
The reflective feathers of the grackle on its neck are usually blue. Sometimes it can seem to be greenish.
