Glowing in the Sky........
It was a clear crisp morning yesterday up at the old place, and I took some shots of the silver maple.
The leaves are slow to fall. I will have to deal with them by next week as it gets colder. The balsam pine continues to get taller each year now bumping into the maple tree.

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Beautiful tree against the blue sky. I always giggle when I remember my dad raked up all my silver leaf maple leaves one autumn, before I married John. My neighbor came home from work and rather than thank my dad, she was disappointed that the leaves were gone! Live and learn!
