Vacant Dwelling.......Nest.
The foliage of the bradford pear is so thick in the summer that I could not see the nest. I knew that a bird would hurriedly escape from my advancement below it. I never saw the bird and could only hear it when it flew away. I am thinking it is a robin's nest but it doesn't appear to be so tightly created. I don't know if they reuse their nest but if they do, I will keep an eye out for it next spring.

Tulip Power
My tulips are planted among the peonies. As they fade and go away the peonies will be large and take over the garden.

Goodness! How odd that a bird would be in a nest in December! Maybe it is still rather hot there? But I think not, since the leaves are gone.
The window where I sit with my laptop provides me with a view of a squirrel's nest. I hope you both have a restful night.
Interesting how birds' nests you never knew about suddenly appear at his time of year.
