Have a view of my daily photos or photos from my past. We all need to document the world around us visually. What I see is mostly what you get.

Invasion of the Red.......
My wife noticed him yesterday in our bird's staging tree. He was staring at the blue spruce and all those pinecones. This morning he showed up on the deck railing giving be much joy. I really like red and this guy really is flaunting his colors.
In the tree yesterday he just perched on the branch and looked around. I have yet to see a female cardinal but there is hope.
This morning he was gleaning the seeds that were scattered on the deck floor. He is a gift, as I could have had hundreds of photos of him. I finally just quit clicking photos and watched him worked.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Iowa wild rose is the state flower. I keep finding evidence of our hard freeze on different plants as they mature. The freeze messed up...

Gorgeous shot of him in the tree. Hope you and Della have a blessed afternoon.
He is truly beautiful. In the winter when it snows, they are the only brilliant red thing in the white landscape. I hope yours finds a mate and sticks around! Just seeing one can lift one's spirits!
Isn't that the way of God's creation? At times there is nothing more captivating than just to enjoy it. Maybe before much longer, the female will show up. In the meantime, you can just enjoy his beauty.
