While they were posturing to declare their territory, their appetites made them have a truce for just a short moment. Then they were back at it again fighting over two feeders.

We visited my brother today and while sitting on the front porch we watched two come in to his feeder at the same time...after that they would fly to a branch on one of the nearby pine trees and watch for the other one to come in to feed. Then the first one would fly down to scare off the one who was preparing to eat. :-)
