Looking out the old kitchen window. Everything is still green in the yard and the old kitchen cabinets do show their age. The carpenter that made this was falling the styles of the age which had to be in the 60s. While paining them I discovered that they originally were varnished plywood cabinets.

They look like Mother's cabinets. Our house was built about 1953 and it had those little corner shelves where she placed her pretty ceramic pieces.
Nice wood cabinet and still looks good. We have varnished most of our wood furniture and doors right now at our renovated home.
