The cold weather brings the birds to the feeders in large numbers. The house finches were late coming to the feeder this winter but now they seem to be regulars at the feeders.

The house finches do really seem to like being around houses. They build their nests right up against our picture window. But they never get to raise their babies because of all the cats in the area.
