The house finch has a rich red color but it is only in small areas. Some of them have redder chests than others. This kind of bird hasn’t been around very often but when the weather got much colder it started to mix in with the sparrows and juncos.

Beautiful shot with the details of red! Looks winter is the best time to look out for birds there
