Such a Good Dog.......
Barney enjoyed the new home. He was in decline when we moved here but he did adapt to his new place quite well. Our sidewalks were full of people walking their dogs and that was fun for him. Within the first year he lost the ability to walk down the hills to our back yard. He really didn’t go there that often then and made new places to be in the front yard. The middle of the living room was a favorite place for him but then when he got too warm being on carpet he would head to the hardwood floors. It has been only a day and a half since he has gone and we really are still in distress over his loss. Time will heal lots of things even thought there are vivid images in my mind that I wish would leave immediately.

Teddy's legs are a little short for this big wheel but he still likes sitting on it. These shots were buried in my files and this one...

Such a sweet picture and I see his reflection in the fireplace screen. Kaboodle was 15 in early May and died a week later. Like Barney, we had so many precious memories but the last months were difficult. I pray for you both during this sad time. God bless you.
Very sorry for the loss of Barney and hope time will heal you. Our dog is 11 years and she finds difficult in walking when she wake up or ate fully and i am sure it would be difficult for you come out of her image and gesture. Take care
Push the bad images out of your mind and recall the good times, I know it is difficult. We don't get over our best friends deaths overnight...it is a process...and so hard. :(
