Going down is easier and the stepping stones lead you away from the deck. Former owner liked stepping stones and has created two lines of them to go to his vegetable garden. I am thinking about rearranging them but don’t know what I will do to create the change. He was an avid gardener and I assume he was trampling down the grass has he worked out there a lot.

Someone placed stepping stones from our back door and we keep tripping over them! lol We finally removed them. Funny, when I was younger, I could skip and jump on stones! The area does stay a little muddy after rain, so we will need to come up with an alternate solution than the stepping stones.
There's a cottage i know where they keep changing there stepping stones and path to look different to invite customers from getting bore.
