I looked this up to see what it actually is named. I guess it does fit in as a salvia and then too blue sage. I didn’t buy it but it is a great part of the garden.

Yeah, people use both words, sage and salvia. From what I've read it's most common to call the culinary type sage and the ornamental ones salvia. That's how one of my favorite online plant vendors lists the two.
